PHYSICAL MODELING

DIGITAL RENDERING
Professional digital renderings for ikon.5 architects. As an architectural design intern, Stephanie designed, developed, and perfected these perspectives as well as part of the digital models of the Arizona State University’s honors housing dining refectory and also the State University of New York, New Paltz, Student Center, which were both being designed by ikon.5 architects. After mastering the modeling program used in-house, she further developed the digital models and ultimately exported them to finalize the renderings. One of the two clients also met with both the firm and Stephanie, and was explained the newest design ideas through a series of the design model’s images Stephanie had developed.

COMPETITION BOARD DESIGN |
 |
American Institute of Architects (AIA) Competition Board Designs for ikon.5 architects |
As an architectural design intern, Stephanie designed the AIA competition boards for ikon.5’s Hockessin Public Library, Louisiana State University College of Business, and Arizona State University Barrett Honors Housing projects. Each design lures with an evocative image of the architecture, which is then broken down into selective rendered, photographed, drafted, and/or sketched detail images. Stephanie designed each board with specific attention to image hierarchy, overall clarity, and the firm’s existing competition board precedents. The final boards presented were ultimately achieved through personally-driven rigorous graphic design, composition, and layout trials and re-trials.
